Moana Chips was born from a love of home and a desire to share the flavors of American Samoa with the world. We take that same beloved root, harvested using the same traditional techniques passed down through generations, and craft it by hand into something crunchy, wholesome, and unmistakably ours. Every bag carries the care, culture, and pride of our island community.

At the heart of Moana Chips is aiga, family. We are a family-run, woman-built business, and everything we make reflects the strength, heart, and tradition behind it. This is Fa'a Sāmoa, the Samoan way: family first, respect, and service to those around us. When you open a bag, you are tasting the work of our hands and the values we were raised on.

Real Talo, Real Farmers

We start with real, Non-GMO taro grown by local farmers right here in American Samoa. Partnering with our island's growers means fresher chips, stronger roots in our community, and a livelihood that stays close to home. No artificial flavors and no artificial colors, just a few honest ingredients and the naturally nutty, lightly sweet taste of taro.
